Marco Dalla Stella

I'm Marco, an Italian journalist based in Brooklyn. I specialize in cross-border investigations with a data component, focusing on digital rights, the environment, and migration.

My work has been published in outlets including the Latin American Center for Investigative Journalism, Mother Jones, La Marea, and Il Manifesto. I thrive in collaborative, cross-border investigations and enjoy working with diverse teams to uncover complex stories.

I was trained at the Columbia Journalism School and specialized in data at the Lede Program. Other training includes Next-IJ, DFRLab's Digital Sherlocks, and Finance Uncovered/CLIP's course on Understanding Company Accounts. I've been a Columbia Journalism Investigations fellow, an ICFJ Disarming Disinformation grantee, and a JournalismFund grantee.
